Oceanair

Key Features

Precision light and heat control

An electric power unit installed with Oceanair's products, combined with a versatile control system, not only offers a stylish solution, but also maximum convenience for optimum control of light and heat. When integrated with automated activation, powered options can also provide an additional layer of security.

Space and power optimisation

The electric motor systems are of a compact design fitting neatly inside the head rail, specifically designed to fit the smallest of recesses, at the same time as delivering sufficient power to lift even the largest blinds.

Detailed design

Whatever the boat's electrical systems - 240V, 110V or 24V - our in-house Design and Technical Team make best use of the world's leading electrical components to tailor a package to suit your detailed requirements.

Control options

To create a relaxed and comfortable mood on board, powered systems can be controlled in three different ways: hard wire switch, remote control, and boat's central control system.

Hard Wire Switch

Oceanair's range of powered blinds can be controlled by momentary or constant contact switches.

Momentary switches will only power the blind while the switch is pressed. This allows the blind to be easily stopped in any position.

Constant contact switches will, from a single press, power the blind until it is fully open or closed; the blind can be stopped at any point during operation.

Oceanair's five position rocker switch neatly integrates both options into one switch.

Alternatively, other switches, momentary or constant contact, can be used to control Oceanair's powered blinds and curtains.

Remote Control

Both radio and infra red remote control systems are available for the Oceanair range.

Radio control uses a high frequency signal to transmit instructions from the hand-held remote to the blind's hidden radio receiver. This system benefits from low power consumption, only requires simple wiring and is omni-directional.

Oceanair offer three different handsets dependent on the number of radio channels required. The most advanced offers 20 separate channels. Each channel controls up to seven different blinds which can be grouped to allow simultaneous operation. In effect, a single handset is capable of controlling a total of 140 different blinds.

Infrared is a line of sight system which avoids any interference with the boat's radio systems, ideally suited, for example, to the bridge area.

Boat's central control system

Oceanair's powered products are also compatible with computer control systems. Oceanair's technical team are fully conversant with marine control systems and are able to provide technical assistance as required.
