Orientation Matters

Not only does SKYSCREEN cater for any hatch, Oceanair's unique modular construction allows the blind to be fitted in any orientation.

Thus, any size combination or orientation of hatches can be accomodated, with the blinds all operating in the same direction.

SKYSCREEN Roller Fabric Technology

The success of SKYSCREEN rests in the ability to control light transmission and, by extension, the cabin temperature.

Oceanair works closely with fabric manufacturers at the cutting edge of research to ensure that the most appropriate material is used.

A 3-layer fabric combines 100% blackout and 80% heat reflection in a waterproof, UV resistant, low maintenance blind fabric.

Flyscreen

The PVC-coated glass fibre weave of the Oceanair flyscreen fabric allows air to flow around the cabin, while preventing minute insects access, as well as offering a long-lasting, UV-stable solution.

SKYSCREEN Range of Fabrics

For the best long term performance properties, the recommended fabrics for SKYSCREEN Roller are Solar Shield with Flyscreen. SKYSCREEN Pleated utilises a 100% blackout 14mm (1/2") pleated fabric.

The Oceanair Fabric and Slat Sample book details a number of options for SKYSCREEN blackout fabric, along with complementing flyscreen fabrics.
