Oceanair Marine Ltd has been honoured for a third time with a Queen's Award for Enterprise
The World’s leading supplier of boat blinds, shades and screens, Oceanair Marine Ltd has been honoured for a third time with a Queens Award for Enterprise for ‘Outstanding Performance in International Trade’. The award recognises Oceanair’s continual increase of over 65% in export sales over the past three years.
The Royal Office sent the Lord Lieutenant of West Sussex, Mr Hugh Wyatt to the Selsey-based company on Friday to present Andy FitzGerald, Managing Director, and staff with the official award scroll and a stunning glass rose bowl to commemorate the prestigious business accolade for Oceanair.
The Team celebrated with customers and suppliers receiving a well deserved pat on the back. Ten longer serving staff were individually honoured by the Company with their own framed copy of each award, 2001, 2005 and 2008, to recognise their invaluable contribution to the achievement three consecutive awards.
Anthony Robinson, Oceanair's Supply Chain Director, commented after receiving his individual award,‘We are delighted with the news of our third Queens Award – we were pleased with 2001 and 2005 but 2008 is just tremendous.
